How do the air and fluid sections of a stainless steel air-operated double diaphragm pump (AODD pump) fit together? This OVELL workshop video follows the assembly from the center block to the fluid chambers and check valve seats.

The demonstration starts with the O-rings, spacers and pilot spool in the center block. The air chambers are then fitted to the center section. The close-up shows where the small seals and moving components sit before the diaphragm assemblies go on.
The technician assembles the diaphragm and outer piston on one side and repeats the process on the other. The video then shows how the fluid chambers line up with the pump body and where the valve-seat O-rings fit.
Use the full pump model code to match the exploded drawing and parts list. Refer to that model’s manual for seal orientation, lubrication and tightening values. The video provides a visual reference for the assembly sequence.
